On Tuesday night, the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs girls traveled to Norwalk High School and in an incredible match up, the Mustang girls granted Norwalk their first loss of the season with a final score of 53-48. The Mustangs now sit at 9-2, and are in the top seat in the Little Hawkeyes Conference.

Head coach for the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs girls Adam Jones reflected on Tuesday night’s performance, praising his bench for playing hard and remaining dedicated to the plan. Coach Jones said, “just knowing that we have the depth to have somebody step up and somebody make plays is great and that’s kind of what’s happening. That’s just the beauty of being on a team and understanding that, that’s what it’s all about. I think we have a group this year that really understands that.
