The Adel City Council will be meeting in regular session tonight.

The council will be having a discussion about the implementation of the National League of Cities Service Line Warranty Program by HomeServe. Then, the items on the agenda seeking approval include an agreement for the next trail project, a request for proposals on the Island Park Campground lease and operations, a voluntary annexation schedule for the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Community School District, and the 2025 calendar year council meeting dates.

The council will receive an update from the Adel Parks and Recreation Director Nick Schenck on Developer Concept Near Meadowview School and a discussion on the progress of securing a firm to conduct a comprehensive needs assessment for the Adel Fire Department staffing and station planning. The meeting is set to take place at Adel City Hall, 301 S. 10th Street, tonight at 6pm. Raccoon Valley Radio will have the results of the meeting later this week.
