Main Street Guthrie Center Director Lindsay Gilland says that the group had a fun and eventful 2024.
Gilland mentions that one of the big goals for the group was to really let the community know who they are and what all they do. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio they did this with a series of events, including their new “Celebrate Guthrie Center” event that they held.
“We collaborated with a couple organizations and groups to bring information to the community. It is pay per ticket. But we just tried to get as many people to come enter the doors to be able to hear what all of our organizations are doing in the town of Guthrie Center. Main Street also had a portion where we spoke about what our plans were for the year 2024.”
Gilland shares that they also had a bingo night, helped host the farmers market, and did Santa’s Village once again. She adds that they’re excited to see what 2025 has in store.
