The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Wrestling team resumed their season with a couple of wins this past Thursday.
ADM kicked off 2025 year as they were in Des Moines taking on the Des Moines East Scarlet and the Council Bluffs Lincoln Lynx. The Tigers beat the Scarlet 47 to 27 and won over the Lynx 40 to 36. Key matches for ADM over Des Moines East featured Jon Hatchitt (190 lbs.) defeating Ivan Quezada by a fall (1:23), Ethan Johnson (144 lbs.) winning over Phengmong Lee by a technical fall (17-2), and Karver Sutton (215 lbs.) over Wesley Jordan by a fall (3:18).
In the Council Bluffs Lincoln match, the Tigers saw Grayson Sutter (138 lbs.) beat Miles Vander Velde by a fall (2:55), Henry Krug (165 lbs.) defeating Jorge Solorio by a fall (56 seconds), and Rhett Boston (285 lbs.) winning over Adam Livingston by a fall (1:37).
ADM will return to the mat tomorrow as they will be competing at Earlham High School. Full results are below.
