Parts of the state in Iowa have a high chance of witnessing snow on Thursday morning.
According to the National Weather Service, there is potential of heavy snowfall in central and southern Iowa in the morning hours on Thursday. The organization predicts that the heaviest amount of snow could happen between 5-11am that can be between two and four inches.
The snow can impact the morning commute and will begin on the west side of the state in the morning and work its way to the east. According to the National Weather Service, central Iowa’s best chance of getting snow is specifically between 6-9am.
