With the Christmas holiday upon us, several offices and businesses will be closed in Greene County.

The Greene County Courthouse and Jefferson Public Library are closed Tuesday and Wednesday in observance of the holiday. Library staff reminds patrons that nothing is due to the library when it is closed for a holiday. The Jefferson City Hall and Greene County Community Center are closing at noon Tuesday and remain closed on Christmas Day. The Greene County Extension Office will be closed Tuesday through Friday.

Jefferson residents are reminded that only Wednesday’s garbage routes are impacted with Christmas Day and are delayed until Thursday.
