ADM basketball hosted Raccoon River Conference foe Ballard last night.  The Tigers split the night winning the girls 41-30 and losing the boys 58-53.

The boys contest featured two 5-0 teams.  The Bombers remain perfect on the season with the victory and remain at the top of the Raccoon River Conference.  A back and fourth first saw ADM maintain a 17-14 lead.  The lead would grow to 12 in the second, but Ballard battled to make it 27-25 at half.  ADM led by 5 going to the fourth, 41-36.  Ballard won by three as Wyatt Schweiger missed a three as time expired from left wing.  Hudson Lorenson led all scorers with 28.

The girls enter winter break 6-3.  ADM would score the first 9 points of the game and lead 12-3 after one.  Ballard would win the second and cut the deficit to 6 at half, 20-14.  ADM extended the lead to 13 at the end of the third, 32-19.  The Tigers coasted to a 41-30 win behind Kelli Storck’s 14 points.

ADM returns to the court January 3 at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines against Clear Lake.
