The Greene County Medical Center Foundation is once again seeking donations to help improve and enhance services to county residents and surrounding communities.

Foundation Director Nancy Houska invites everyone to support the 2024 Greene Backer Campaign as the year winds down. She says she hears stories of people everyday about how grateful they are to have the services and programs that are available through Greene County Medical Center and the fact they do not have to travel outside of the county to receive them.

Last year, Houska states that through the Greene Backer donations, they were able to subsidize the purchase of a new radiofrequency ablation equipment for the pain clinic and a multi-use ultrasound machine that has been utilized by the Urology, Cardiac, Pain, Emergency, Acute and Orthopedic Departments. She adds that as a non-profit organization, the medical center and the foundation rely on the financial support of community partners and individuals to continue to meet daily needs and ensure that they remain Always Here, Always Caring for several years to come.
