After being weathered out at the scheduled Ogden Dual Meet Tournament last Saturday, Greene County sends its wrestlers today to Saydel for a 6 p.m. double-dual meet vs. the host Eagles and Creston Panthers. Starting time is 6 p.m. and the Rams are in the first two meets of the evening. Coach Kirk Davis has had several open weight classes to start the season, primarily due to injuries, and it remains to be seen how many of the 14 weight classes the Rams will fill tonight. The Rams are 1-1 in the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference and 2-3 overall.

IAwrestle came out with its latest set of individual rankings yesterday and three Greene County wrestlers are among those recognized. Senior Brent Dennhardt is ranked fourth in Class 2A at 165 lbs., but he’s been injured and hasn’t wrestled this season. Senior Gavyn Winters is rated eighth at 120 lbs. and sophomore Degan Miller is number 9 at 175 lbs.
