The Adel Public Library will be hosting one final special story time tomorrow before the Christmas holiday.
The library is having a Celebrate the Light Story Time for youth ages 3-6 years old. According to Programming Specialist Lily Schwarz, the program will focus on discussing how different cultures celebrate the winter holidays. She explains that several cultures specifically key in on the evolution of light. Schwarz reveals that the program will cover Diwali in India and Hanukkah for children to learn about, plus there will be songs, games, as well as a craft featured.
The story time is happening inside the community room tomorrow, starting at 10am. Schwarz outlines that the program is not registered and encourages children between the ages of three and six to come out. Any questions can be directed to the Adel Public Library at (515)-993-3512.
