The Perry Public Library is getting into the holiday spirit with a festive winter program for adults on Monday.

The library is encouraging adults to come decorate Ornament Christmas Trees for the craft in the month of December. Adult Services Librarian Mindy Farmer tells Raccoon Valley Radio that this activity will give people a chance to take simple dollar store materials and create an ornament modeled after a Christmas tree. She details that with the event being on Monday, it will allow people to hang their ornament on their own personal tree for the holidays.

Farmer says the program is free and that supplies will be provided as well, but interested participants must register as spaces are limited. The event will be happening in the community room on Monday from 6-7:30pm. For more information, contact the Perry Public Library at (515)-465-3569.
