Mustang basketball continues tonight as the Earlham Cardinals travel to Dallas Center-Grimes High School to take on the Mustangs. For the girls match up, both teams currently come in at 4-1 with both teams looking to grant the other their second loss. For the boys match up, the Mustangs look to hand the Cardinals their first loss, as Earlham enters the boys match up at 3-0.
Meyer, Boens, Jones, and Brauch look to guide the Mustangs towards their fifth win of the season as Meyer leads the team in points averaging 18.6 points per game alongside Boens who averages 5.2 rebounds per game.
Cason, Dzolota, and Tate Perrin also look to guide the Mustangs towards handing the Cardinals their first loss, as Cason currently leads the Mustangs averaging 24.3 points per game and leading the team in rebounds averaging 9 per game. Dzolota hopes to keep the ball moving for the Mustangs against Earlham, as he averages 6 assists per game.
Mustang basketball resumes tonight as the girls battle the Cardinals first with tip off 6pm with the boys to follow at 7:30pm. Play by play coverage will begin on KDLS2 starting at 5:45pm.
