Last night the Panorama Panthers traveled to Earlham High School to take on the Cardinals. Both teams fell to the Cardinals, with the girls falling 46-40 and the boys falling 59-17.

The Panther girls battled the entire match staying right behind the Cardinals throughout the match. The Cardinals had a good run to start the game, holding the Panthers to only 7 points while putting up 19. With an 11 point lead, the Panthers would begin to chip away at the score, ending the half down by 8 with the score at 25-17.  Coming back from the halftime break Earlham would continue to hold onto that 8 point lead, as both teams scored 10 points in the third. With the score at 35-27, the Panthers would begin to fire up, bringing the lead to only 1 for the Cardinals but would not be able to take the lead, falling to Earlham 46-40.

The Panther boys would not be able to find their rhythm against the Cardinals, as the Cardinal defense would keep Panorama contained, only allowing 10 points in the entire first half while Earlham scored 41. Coming from the break Earlham continued to hold onto their lead, only allowing 3 points in the third and 4 in the fourth to fall to the Cardinals 59-17.

The Panther girls take their first loss, falling to 4-1 while the Panther boys fall to 1-4. Both Panther teams are back in action at home on Friday against the West Central Valley Wildcats.
