Jayette basketball hosted the 9th ranked Mustangs from PCM last night.  PCM showed off why they are ranked so high in a 55-27 win.  Perry has now suffered two straight losses.  The evening started with PCM leading 19-5 at the end of the first.  The Mustang defense turned up the pressure as we went to half 29-9.  Perry battled in the third yet trailed 50-18 going into the fourth. Final 55-27.

Perry was led in scoring by Lily Myers with 13.  Karagyn Whelchel also chipped in 6 points.

The Jayettes fall to 3-2 and 1-2 in the Heart of Iowa. They return to action Friday night in Roland-Story.
