An organization in Dallas County was officially recognized with a ceremonial event on Friday.
The Dallas County Board of Supervisors held an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony for the new administration building in Adel. Residents had an opportunity to walk around the building to check out the new amenities. The Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce led the ribbon cutting with Director Deb Bengston. Adel Mayor Jim Peters expressed his appreciation to the Dallas County Supervisors and congratulated them on the new building. Supervisor Chair Brad Golightly thanked the City of Adel, as well as Farnsworth Group and Turner Construction for their work to help them scope out their vision.
Supervisor Mark Hanson spoke about the 26 display cases scattered throughout the building and Supervisor Kim Chapman gave thanks to the hands that crafted the building and the people who supported them during the process. The supervisors were joined by city officials and then held the ribbon cutting to cement the occasion. The supervisors’ first meeting inside the building was on November 13th.
