The boil order that was enacted in Casey Wednesday has been lifted.

Public Works Director Jon Welker says that with the necessary testing completed, and desired results returned, it is safe to drink tap water without boiling it. The city would also like to update contact information for all water utility customers, and asks residents to let them know what their email addresses or cell phone numbers are. They need the information so that they can contact residents in the case of boil advisories, water outages or other emergencies.
