The Iowa Girls Coaches Association All-State Academic Team has been announced and Kylie Brandt of Perry is on the 25-person honor squad. Brandt was the catcher for the Jayettes throughout her career. She earned all-conference honors as a senior in the Raccoon River Conference, one of the top Class 4A conferences in the state. Brandt his .337 as a senior with 23 runs batted in, while making just two errors from behind the plate.

The Raccoon River also had Ashley Burrows of Bondurant-Farrar and Lauren Janning of Carroll on the Academic All-State squad.
