A local non-profit organization in the City of Perry made a substantial contribution to help a retirement project.

The 100+ People for Perry held their final fourth quarterly meeting of 2024 this past Monday, where the organization gave $6,100 to the VFW Foundation Ceremonial Flag Retirement Vault Project at the Violet Hill Cemetery. According to Co-Organizer Tom Lipovac, the group has now donated $246,000 to 36 local non-profit projects in the nine years of existence. 

The first quarter 2025 100+ People for Perry meeting is scheduled to be held on Monday, February 24th at Hotel Pattee, 1112 Willis Avenue, in Perry at 7pm. Anyone interested in joining the organization can email Lipovac (tom.lipovac@gmail.com) or Linda Kaufman (kaufmanlinda1948@gmail.com).
