Nov. 15th

Maury Clark, Des Moines, was driving on I80, near the 118 mile marker, when he hit a dead deer in the roadway.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $1500.  The car was towed from the scene.

Nov. 21st

Jennifer Carrico, Redfield, was driving on 240th St near Dallas Center when she hit a deer.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $1500.  She was able to drive the car from the scene.

Nov. 22nd

Alicia Arnajallum, age 37, address unknown in Van Meter, was arrested on a warrant for Revocation Of Pretrial Release.  The original charge was Operating While Under The Influence.

Preben Lansman, Adel, was driving in the 32000 block of L Ave when he hit a deer.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $7000.  The vehicle was towed from the area.

Nov. 23rd

Ronald Caudle, Adel, was traveling in the 31000 block of N Ave when he hit a deer.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $5000. He was able to drive the car from the scene.

Walker Hodges, Ankeny, was driving east in the 27000 block of 240th St when he turned into a driveway, causing a collision with a vehicle traveling westbound, driven by James Kilts, Dallas Center.  Mr. Hodges was taken to the hospital by Dallas Co EMS for evaluation of any injuries.  Mr. Kilts was not injured in the accident and damage to his vehicle was estimated at $10000.  Damage to Mr. Hodges vehicle was estimated at $15000.  Mr. Hodges was cited for Fail To Yield Upon Left Turn. An investigation is ongoing.

Nov. 24th

Walker Hodges, age 50, 305 NE Hayes Dr, Ankeny, was arrested for Falsely Claiming Emergency.

George Hackler, Jefferson, was driving in the 14000 block of Hwy 141 when he hit a deer.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $7000.  He was able to drive from the scene.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
