The Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center School Boards met in regular joint session on November 18th.

AC/GC Superintendent Josh Rasmussen says that the Boards discussed Iowa School Performance Profiles, noting that AC Elementary and AC/GC Junior High received a high performance rating, while Guthrie Center Elementary and AC/GC High School received a commendable rating. The Boards also jointly approved a categorical fund transfer to TSS, while the AC Board approved an agreement with Snyder and Associates for repairs to the roof of the AC Elementary and AC/GC Junior High building.

The GC Board then approved an English Language Learning teacher sharing agreement with Madrid Community School District, a Family Consumer Sciences teacher sharing agreement and girls wrestling agreement with Panorama Community School District, along with a mid year graduate. They also approved the disposal of a bus that was incurring increasing repair costs, the first change order and sixth pay application for the first high school HVAC project, seventh pay application for the second high school HVAC project and the purchase of a Can-Am side-by-side.
