A reminder that this afternoon pets and their owners can get photos taken with St. Nicholas in Jefferson.

People for Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) of Greene County President Ann Wenthold invites everyone to bring their furry friends from 1-3pm today to the Community Animal Shelter in Jefferson for photos with Santa. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that pet owners can dress themselves and their pets and have their pictures taken with Santa and have them for Christmas cards or to keep as mementos.

Wenthold is suggesting a $20 donation, with all of the donations going back to the care of the cats and dogs that are at the shelter. She asks for everyone to be patient as there might be some wait time between photos and that pets need to be on a leash or in a carrier prior to and after the photos with Santa. Wenthold adds that photos will be emailed to those that attend and leave a valid email address.
