If you haven’t been to the Greene County Medical Center recently, the main lobby is filled with the holiday spirit.
According to the medical center, the Greene County Medical Center Auxiliary Holiday of Lights silent auction is currently underway. Auxiliary President Sue Rieder says there are several decorated trees, wreaths, other winter decor and gift items that were made and donated by individuals and businesses. Everyone is invited to write their bid on the form in front of an item from now until 2pm on December 4th. The winner bidders will be contacted to pay and pick up their items.
Rieder details the other popular fundraiser is the annual Candy Sale that begins at 7am on December 17th in the main lobby, where items are picked over quickly. She adds that all the proceeds from those fundraisers and items purchased in the Gift Garden goes back to the medical center to support services, programs and initiatives for patients and team members of the medical center.
