Tuesday’s joint meeting between the West Central Valley and Adair-Casey school boards was a positive one, according to West Central Valley Superintendent Dr. David Arnold, “They wanted to meet with our board as well as other boards in the area…making plans for the future and we shared our information on what we offer kids here at West Central Valley and across the board, k-12  and in particular the high school. I thought it went very well. It was a very positive meeting.”
Dr. Arnold stated that a few of the things emphasized was the technology that West Central Valley offers within their curriculum and the approaches that have been taken.

Remember, school starts August 14th and Dr. Arnold said one of the goal’s this year is to have the 1st semester completed before Christmas break.  Also, a big plus: test scores continue to rise in the district.

Keep in mind, back to school night is August 12th from 5 -7 pm in every building and first day back is a full day.
