The Class 2A District 8 All-District football team was announced earlier this week. We take a look at the five first team selections for Coach Caden Duncan’s Greene County Rams. We start today with sophomore Trevon Keely.

Keely is the only sophomore on the Greene County team to earn first team All-District honors. He did so as a defensive back where he intercepted five passes, a team high, and tied him for fourth among class 2A players statewide. Keely was an all-around performer who caught 24 passes for 347 yards and one touchdown, plus he returned two kickoffs for touchdowns. The sophomore at Paton-Churdan was the Class 1A State Meet runner-up in the high jump last May and led the Rockets in points scored on the basketball court, also last season as a ninth grader.
