The Adel Women’s Club is gearing up for their fall/early winter fundraiser.

The organization announces that they will be selling luminaries during the months of November and December. Club member Karen Daniel tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the goal is to ignite a new tradition called “Light Up Adel” with memorial luminaries to be displayed around the Adel courthouse on December 15th. Daniel explains that luminaries will be sold in a package of five for $10, with the bags featuring five LED candles, five luminary bags and a decorative cutout design. 

The Adel Women’s Club will be posted at specific locations in Adel and on dedicated days in November and December. All dates and times are below.

November 9th: 9:30am-2:30pm at the ADM Fine Arts Craft Fair located at Meadow View Elementary School, 1300 S. 15th Street in Adel

November 28th: 11am-1pm at the Adel Community Thanksgiving Dinner at Meadow View Elementary School

December 6th: 4:30-6:30pm on the north side of the Dallas County Courthouse in Adel, 801 Court Street

December 7th: 1-3pm at the Adel Museum, 1129 Main Street

December 13th & 14th: 12-3pm in front of the Fareway grocery store on Highway 169 in Adel
