A yearly music festival is coming up soon in the City of Perry.
The 14th Annual Art on the Prairie Festival is happening on Saturday and Sunday in downtown Perry to celebrate art, music, and literature. Art on the Prairie Board Member Bethany Wicks unveils that even if people have been to past festivals, there will be some new features for 2024’s show.
“This year, we’re really excited to have (a) Art on the Prairie merchandise table. We have pulled together some local artists to curate some special items. So we’ve got candles from Haven and Pine, we’ve got some trays and ornaments from Purple Star Studio as well as some fresh chocolates made by Heavenly Delights here in Perry.”
Wicks mentions that the merchandise table will be located inside the Ben Franklin building along 2nd Street. The Art on the Prairie Festival is open to the public for free on Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm. To check out more pertaining to the festival, click here.
