As we are a month away from the State Solo Dance Competitions held at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, the West Central Valley Wildcats dance team and their three soloist, Malia Fuller, Scarlett Putney, and Addisyn Leonard all received D1 rankings and have earned the opportunity to compete at state.

Wildcat dance coach Hilary Sawyer mentioned how this is a huge achievement for Putney and Leonard, as both girls are freshmen this year. Coach Sawyer praised their work, stating, “these girls all put about 20 hours a week in dance. They are thrilled to be recognized for their ability and representing our school this year.
