Runners from Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Cross Country Team competed among the best in Iowa in the Class 3A State Meet on Friday.

Freshman Elliotte Von Roden was the only girl to qualify for the Tigers to the state meet in Fort Dodge. She ran to a 73rd overall place out of 139 girls with a time of 20:40 in the 5K (3.1 miles). On the boys side, ADM finished ninth as a team out of 15 teams with Senior Torin Timmerman leading the way in 42nd just under 17 minutes at 16:59, then Junior Ty Landphair was 63rd overall at 17:16 then Sophomore Max Marple was 66th at 17:18.

ADM graduates seven girls including Hannah Desmarais, Ella Goodrich, Kelsey Greenslade, Evelyn Horgen, Emily Piepmeier, Carmen Schwalen, and Mackealin Sutton. The boys say goodbye to 10 seniors of Timmerman, Isaac Chapman, Keegan Holdmeyer, Shay Holdmeyer, Patrick Lee, Riley Milburn, Ryland Moss, Brycen Timmer, Tate Truitt, and Luke Yanacheak.
