High School athletes in Guthrie County will be making their way to the State Cross Country Meet Saturday.

Both the boys and girls teams for the Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center Chargers are heading to Fort Dodge, and there are four athletes that will have the opportunity to compete as individuals as well, with Ava Campbell and Cadence Peterson qualifying for the girls, and Preston Kent and Gavin Sloss qualifying for the boys. The Panorama Panthers were also able to send their girls team, and had three athletes qualify individually, including Kylie Rochholz and Laicey Lutz for the girls team and Noah Poldberg for the boys team. The girls teams will begin their Class 1A race at 10:30am, while the boys teams will start at 11:15am at Lakeside Municipal Golf Course on Saturday.
