Property damage accident reported from Otley Ave/ Railroad St.
Unit 1 1998 Red dodge Dakota, driven by Flores, Kimberly of 2101 Otley Ave
Unit 2 2012 Nissan Driven by Ryan, Richard of Woodward, IA.
Unit 2 and unit 1 were both facing east in the 1200 blk of Otley Ave. Unit 2 had front end damage and appeared to have struck the Dodge. I met with the driver of unit 1 who reported that she was driving east on Otley Ave when the red Dodge pulled out in front of her causing her to hit the vehicle. Unit 2 stated he was driving east on Otley when unit one struck him. No injuries were involved and both units denied EMS. No citations were given to either party. Both vehicles were able to be driven away. Both parties were given a driver exchange report.

Report of Domestic Disturbance from the 2200 blk of North, 5t, case investigated. No charges.
October 19th
Accident reported in the 2800 blk of Willis Ave.
Veh 1 1989 General Motors GMC White Pickup, driven by Clark, Riley Michael of 1420 2nd St. $0 damage Veh 2 2008 Maroon Honda Odessey, driven by Ochoa, Jocelyn of 1716 w 3rd Approx. damage $1500 Unit 2 was on Willis Ave facing EB, unit 2 was facing NB having contact with unit @’s front bumper. Unit admitted fault, said he entered intersection while unit two was right there. Unit 2 advised she was going EB and USPS truck pulled out Infront of her. No injuries, both drivers were issued driver exchange sheets.

Arrest: Melendrez Leiva, Ignacio Age 46 Adr/ 1901 Otley Ave. Charged with Domestic assault- Bodily Inj 1st
October 21st
Accident reported in the 600 blk of Soumas Ave. No injuries.
Unit 1 Unknown Semi
Unit 2 White 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Driver/ Kochheiser, Kelsey of 1821 Willis Ave. Approx damage $3800 A semi-trailer was stopped at a marked stop sign at the intersection of Soumas Ave/HWY 141. The semi- trailer attempted to re-enter traffic by continuing northbound and attempted to turn westbound on HWY 141. While doing so the semi-trailer struck the left rear passenger area of unit 2’s vehicle and continued westbound on HWY 141.
Unit 2 stated unit 1 did not stop to check on unit 2, nor did they stop to inspect the damage caused by unit 1 to unit 2’s vehicle. A driver exchange report was provided for unit 2.

October 22nd
Arrest: Ventura Mendoza, Ana Guadalupe Age 32 Adr 1202 Paul St #2. Charged with Operating While Intoxicated 1st offense and Child Endangerment
Arrest: Tope, Bruce Edward Age 50 Adr/ 1819 6th St, charged with Woodbury County warrant for Probation violation.
It should be noted that all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
