The Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs volleyball team now sit at 21-18 and advance in the Class 4A Region 4 tournament after hosting and defeating the Gilbert Tigers. The first set would set the pace for the entire match, with 3 points being the deciding factor as the Mustangs claim the first set 25-22. Dallas Center-Grimes would keep the momentum in the second set and defeat Gilbert 25-19 in the greatest margin of the match. The Tigers would come out motivated in the third set claiming their own victory, but the Mustangs would not give up the set easy falling to the Tigers 25-23. It would be another close fight, but Dallas Center-Grimes would defeat the Gilbert 25-21 in the fourth and final set to claim a 3-1 victory.

Now at 21-18, the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs volleyball team prepare for the next round of the regional tournament, as they travel to Ballard High School to take on the Bombers. Tickets must be purchased to attend the Mustangs and Bombers match up tomorrow night at 7pm.
