The West Central Valley Wildcats battled hard, but unfortunately fell to the Earlham Cardinals in the first round of volleyball action in Class 2A Regin 6 last night. The Wildcats traveled to Earlham, and battled hard in the first set but would fall to the Cardinals by four points, falling 25-21. The Wildcats would bounce back in the second set, claiming a 25-17 victory but unfortunately this would be the only time the Wildcats would get ahead. Motivated by this loss in the second set, the Cardinals would come back to win the next two sets, 25-18, to claim a 3-1 victory over the West Central Valley Wildcats.

With this, the Wildcat volleyball season comes to a close. West Central Valley end their season at 12-14.
