The AC/GC Chargers are in action tonight for their final game of the regular season.

The 7-0 Chargers are hosting the 1-6 Southwest Valley Timberwolves, and will be looking to complete another undefeated regular season. Leading the Chargers in passing yards is senior quarterback Jathan South with 17 completions on 28 attempts for 319 yards and six touchdowns in the air, along with 846 yards and 16 touchdowns on the ground. Fellow senior fullback Mike Fuller is the rushing yards leader with 894 yards and nine touchdowns on 119 carries, along with one passing touchdown for 63 yards.

Junior running back Joe Crawford is the receiving yards leader with 159 yards and three touchdowns on nine receptions, and 675 yards and six touchdowns on the ground. Fellow junior linebacker Xander Harwood leads in total tackles with 40.5, and eight tackles for a loss of yards.

For the Timberwolves, junior quarterback Wyatt Mendenhall leads in passing and rushing yards, with 35 completions on 64 attempts for 364 yards and two touchdowns in the air, wth 508 yards and four touchdowns on 101 carries. Fellow junior Gavin Wetzel leads in receiving yards, with 229 yards and a touchdown on 17 receptions. Senior Beau Johnston leads in total tackles with 44, along with 7.5 tackles for a loss of yards, one sack, one fumble recovery and two interceptions.

This is the second game between the two teams, as the Chargers took the game last year 41-0 in Corning. It’s Military Appreciation night, with kickoff at 7pm. Pregame coverage on the the Raccoon Valley Radio Sports Network begins at 6:30pm on the KKRF2 online live stream.
