An event involving delicious treats is happening soon at the Adel Public Library.

The Annual Bake Sale is taking place on October 29th from 9-10am. According to Programming Specialist Lily Schwarz, the fundraiser is put together by the Friends of the Adel Public Library and encourages people to bring an assortment of baked goods.

“Any donation that you wish to bring. It can be cookies, bars, pies, anything like that (and) it does not need to be refrigerated. We do ask that you label what you baked for us.”

Schwarz emphasizes that donations should be dropped off to the library on October 28th prior to the sale the next day. She says that all the funds raised from the sale will go into future programming at the library. For more information, contact the Adel Public Library at (515)-993-3512.
