The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session today.
The Board will hear an update on current bonds held by the county from Northland Securities Public Finance representative Chip Shultz, then there will be an Iowa Municipalities Workers Compensation audit update from County Human Resources Director Jamie Lindsay. They will also discuss with County Engineer Josh Sebern about a Safety Action Plan workshop, then hear from County Auditor Dani Fink on 2024 general election important dates along with other general updates.
The Board will then consider for approval adoption of the resolution for appropriation of the sheriff’s office budget, and then give an update on the presentation of emergency medical services ballot measure information that the Supervisors have been using in community meetings.
The meeting will begin at 9am in the Board of Supervisors Room in the Guthrie County Courthouse. For those unable to attend in person, there is a digital option via Microsoft Teams. Raccoon Valley Radio will have results from the meeting tomorrow.
