Minor injuries to the driver of a tipped over vehicle that also injured some livestock happened this past Wednesday.

Greene County Sheriff Jack Williams tells Raccoon Valley Radio he and a deputy responded to the incident around 8am on Wednesday at 140th Street and M Avenue. He says a semi tractor trailer that was carrying hogs was traveling north on M Avenue when the driver, William Harris of Kanawha got too close to the shoulder and the semi tractor and trailer tipped onto its side.

Williams explains that Harris suffered minor injuries and was treated and released at the scene. While some hogs appeared to be hurt, all livestock was able to be moved into another trailer. Deputies were on scene for about 90 minutes.
