A reminder that there are two informational meetings for some upcoming performances with the Greene County Community Theatre.

Josh Tuel, with Greene County Community Theatre, says they are inviting the public to learn more about being in two readers’ theater-style productions with “War of the Worlds” by Orson Welles and “A Community Theatre Carol” with a version of “A Christmas Carol.” The first meeting is tomorrow at 5:30pm at the Greene County High School and the second meeting is Monday at 7pm at the Masonic Lodge on the west side of the downtown square in Jefferson.

Tuel says following those two meetings, the two reading casts will be decided and there will be light rehearsal schedules because there is no memorization involved with either production. “War of the Worlds” will be released on their Facebook page on October 30th and “A Community Theatre Carol” is scheduled for December 21st at the high school auditorium.
