The AC/GC Chargers are in action tonight as they host the Mount Ayr Raiders.

The Chargers are 6-0 on the season, coming off a big win over IKM-Manning, while the Raiders are 5-1, coming off a victory over Lynnville-Sully. The series is tied between the two, with Mount Ayr winning their first two match ups in 2018 and 2019, while AC/GC took both games last season.

Leading the Chargers in passing yards is senior quarterback Jathan South, with 16 completions on 24 attempts for 313 yards and six touchdowns in the air, while adding 788 yards and 15 touchdowns on the ground. Fellow senior fullback Mike Fuller leads the team in rushing yards, with 792 yards and eight touchdowns on 105 carries. Junior running back Joe Crawford leads in receiving yards, going 93 yards for two touchdowns on seven receptions, and adding 569 yards and five touchdowns on the ground. Fellow junior linebacker Xander Harwood leads AC/GC in total tackles with 31, along with 7 tackles for a loss of yards.

For the Raiders, junior quarterback Jackson Ruggles leads in passing yards with 601 yards and seven touchdowns on 33 of 51 passing, adding 441 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground. Sophomore Dyson Thompson leads in rushing yards, with 579 yards and five touchdowns on 93 carries, with 31 yards and one touchdown in the air. Leading Mount Ayr in receiving yards is junior Tate Dugan, with 13 receptions for 229 yards and four touchdowns, while also contributing 274 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. Senior Tyler Marten is the total tackles with 32, along with 3.5 tackles for a loss of yards, 1.5 sacks and 2 fumble recoveries as well as an interception.
