The Dallas County Conservation Board is holding an interactive event on Saturday. The board is inviting interested participants to join them to investigate macroinvertebrates. The event will take people onto the Middle Raccoon River. According to the conservation board, a naturalist will lead individuals to collect, identify, and count aquatic macroinvertebrates. The organization recommends that people bring rubber boots and must be at least 14 years of age. The program is taking place Saturday morning from 10am-12pm at the Redfield Boat Ramp, Bridge Street, in Redfield.
