Meggan Guns, who is running for Dallas County Attorney, offers her stance on contesting criminal cases.

Guns, a Democrat, states her two objectives when dealing with criminals will come down to protecting the community and the rehabilitation of the defendant. She knows how important each case is to a victim and dives deeper into her strategy.

“Prioritization is going to look more towards violent offenses first and foremost. Crimes against vulnerable persons, sex crimes, crimes against children and dependent adults, gun crimes, home invasions, those that take away a feeling of being secured in your community.”

Guns is making it her mission to show equal opportunity to each victim that’s affected. She is committed to upholding all the laws in the state of Iowa and the United States Constitution. Guns is running against Republican Candidate Matt Schultz for Dallas County Attorney in the November General Election.
