The final farmer’s market is happening today in the City of Perry.

The Perry Chamber of Commerce is hosting its Fall Farmer’s Market today from 10am-2pm at the McCreary Community Building’s Gymnasium. Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the weather is favorable for vendors to come out to sell their produce. She mentions that it was challenging for vendors last year because of the colder temperatures. Pasutti invites people out to load up on fresh produce one more time.

“Get stoked up for the fall season and some of the squash, hold on to it for winter, so fresh eggs, fresh bread, and a lot of even tomatoes and your honey.”

Pasutti adds that peppers, gourds, and pumpkins, baked goods and craft items will also be out for sale. She admits that less vendors will be apart of today’s market compared to Thursday’s markets during the summer season, but there will still be enough food to purchase.
