Greene County head football coach Caden Duncan will take his team to Gowrie to play on the football field he starred at when he was in high school. Beyond returning as the opposing coach facing Southeast Valley on Friday night, Duncan, his coaching staff, and the players are focusing on getting back on the winning track after losing back-to-back Class 2A District 8 games to top 10 ranked teams Kuemper Catholic (Carroll) and Roland-Story (Story City).

One of the factors for the Rams is the running game, something the last two opponents have done a good job limiting. Greene County did not reach the 100 yard mark in either game, but the Rams have been a “run first” team throughout the season. Getting the ground game proficient again is a point of emphasis for the Rams.
