An annual outing is coming up later this week at the Perry Public Library.

The library is welcoming residents out to their shred event Saturday morning from 10am-noon. According to Adult Services Librarian Mindy Farmer, the service brings out a big shredder truck allowing for people to discard any unwanted materials.

“Bring any confidential, outdated personal documents that you have and that you want to have shredded. Donations are welcome, so that we can continue to keep having this program going on, and so just be prepared with your items that day.”

The truck will be located in the library’s south parking lot as the event is open to the public for free. For more information, contact the Perry Public Library at (515)-465-3569.
