The Adel City Council will meet in regular session tonight.

The council will have a conversation about citywide street maintenance  and a review if any streets need to be redone. Other items on the agenda seeking approval include filling an opening on the Adel Library Board of Trustees, plus a resolution for joint representation consent and waiver and engagement between the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Community School District and the City of Adel for the annexation and development of the new high school.

Additional items on the agenda to be considered for approval include an amendment on the Southbridge Urban Renewal Area and the related development agreement with Cramer & Associates Incorporated to collect Tax Increment Financing revenues, first reading of an ordinance to replace and repeal city code Chapter 55 for animal protection and control for the purpose of adding regulations related to dangerous and potentially dangerous dogs, and review resident permits for apartments above downtown businesses. 

The meeting will take place tonight at Adel City Hall, 301 S 10th Street at 6pm. Raccoon Valley Radio will have the results from the meeting later this week.
