A free, family fun event will be going on at the Guthrie County Historical Village next on Sunday, October 13th.

Museum Curator Kristine Jorgensen says that The Haunted Village is back for this year. She adds that this Halloween event has been a community favorite for over 20 years, with activities like fortune telling, games, stickers and storytelling, along with a haunted museum, hay ride, inflatable brain and a movie. The movie “It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown” will be shown at the church in the village, with free popcorn provided. Jorgensen mentions that The Haunted Village is for children that are in 5th grade or younger, who must be accompanied by an adult at all times. She explains that costumes are also encouraged, and that children should bring bags to get treats.
