The AC/GC Charger remain undefeated on the season.

The Chargers took on the IKM-Manning Wolves and started off slow, with the Wolves scoring first to punch in a two point conversion for the 8-0 lead. The Chargers then tacked on their own score, and the first quarter ended 8-7. Things stayed close to start the second quarter, but AC/GC was able to outscore their opponents, and went into halftime with a massive 42-28 lead.

The Chargers came back out and scored once more in each of the next two quarters, with the final touchdown of the game coming off the team’s longest drive. AC/GC started on their own 15 yard line after the Wolves turned the ball over on downs, and then began marching down the field. The Chargers nosed into the red zone, before being pushed back and put into a fourth down play. Senior quarterback Jathan South was given a pass play to run, and found fellow senior Eli Madsen in the endzone for the touchdown. The final score was 56-28.

The Crafty’s Coffee Players of the Game went to South on the offensive as he was able to make some big rushing and passing plays, along with knowing exactly where to go on option plays to make the most effective choice. On the defensive, the Player of the Game went to Ben Franzeen, as he once again had a nose for the ball and was able to help make some big stops. The Chargers are at home for their next game, as they host the Mt. Ayr Raiders.
