The first show of the 2024-25 season for Perry Fine Arts begins tomorrow.
Perry Fine Arts Chairperson Cathy Clark tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the opening act is Jive for Five. She points out that they are a group originating from Fort Dodge, featuring five members of Tim Miller, David Swaroff, Kathy Yoakam, Dan Cassady, and Paul Bloomquist. Clark explains that the ensemble is not new to performing in Perry, and she’s glad they are returning.
“We’re really excited to have this group with us. They were here in the past, and we’re glad to welcome them back, so come for an afternoon of wonderful music.”
The show will be held tomorrow at the Performing Arts Center at Perry High School, 1800 18th Street, at 2pm. The concert is free and open to the public. Clark shares that other notable shows during the season will feature the Al Welsh Orchestra in November and a TubaChristmas show in December.
