The now 7-7 Panorama Panthers volleyball team found great success at home on Thursday, defeating both the Nodaway Valley Wolverines and Grand View Christian Thunder for a sweep victory during the Panorama Triangular. The Panthers battled the Wolverines first winning the match 2-0, and defeated Nodaway Valley by 6 points in the first set for a score of 25-19. Motivated by the close set, the Panthers would come out to close the match in the second set with a fire, defeating the Wolverines 25-11.

Looking for the sweep, Panorama then shifted their focus to the Grand View Christian Thunder and defeated the Thunder 2-1. Panorama would strike first but Grand View Christian would stay on the Panthers heels in the first set for a final score of 25-22 in favor of Panorama. The Thunder would take the second set, defeating the Panthers 25-14. Motivated, the Panthers would come back to win the third set and the match, 15-9 to claim a 2-1 victory over the Thunder.

The Panthers were in action yesterday for the Madrid Volleyball Tournament. Scores and stats will be provided tomorrow as they are received.
