Perry Football takes on Harlan Community for week 6 of the high school football season tonight.  The Bluejays and Cyclones will do battle as both teams seek their first District win.  Perry returns home after last weeks lopsided loss to Nevada, 55-0.  Harlan is also coming off a loss to Creston, 43-42.  Dewey Field welcomes the squads tonight at 7:30 as both teams sit at 2-3.  The Bluejays are still searching for their first win in front of the home crowd.  It is Youth Night where the Perry Youth Football teams will be recognized.

Harlan Community won the matchup last year 49-7.  They have also defeated the Bluejays in the previous 5 tilts.  Geren Kenney will look to lead the Bluejays to victory.  The senior QB leads the team in passing, 271 yards, and rushing, 257 yards.  His Favorite target has been Gustavo Drahos, who leads Perry with 137 receiving yards.  The Cyclones rely on two ball carriers Lukas Francis and Ayden Redmon who both have over 260 yards.  Harlan also isn’t afraid to throw the ball.  Gabe Arkfeld has completed nearly 60% of his passes for 941 yards.

Join KDLS and the Raccoon Valley Radio Sports Network for the Perry Hy-Vee Pregame Show tonight at 6:30P.
