The West Central Valley Wildcats volleyball team now sit at 4-9 so far this season after going to battle through five sets with the now 9-9 Earlham Cardinals last night. It was senior night for the Wildcats, but the Cardinals were able to defeat the Wildcats after an intense battle, resulting in a final score of 3-2 in favor of the Cardinals. Earlham would strike first, defeating the Wildcats in the first set 25-16. West Central Valley would come back motivated in the second set, to defeat the Cardinals 25-18. The momentum would shift back and forth, with Earlham claiming a 25-14 win in the third set, the Wildcats claiming a two point victory in the fourth set 25-23, but falling in the final set 15-2 against Earlham.

The now 4-9 Wildcat volleyball team are back in tomorrow as they travel to Interstate 35 High School to take on the 4-17 Roadrunners. The action is set to begin tomorrow at 6:30pm.
